Snapped from the freeway– that sky!
Had an early morning shoot right next to Espresso Profeta near UCLA, which is super cute.
I did in fact get so excited about brunch at Napa Valley Grille that I raised my water glass to toast.
Another sneak from the secret project!

West Elm had an event where they hosted Etsy sellers– I particularly liked the Fabled Soap Co, who gave out really pretty samples of handmade soaps.

Dinner at Joan’s on Third. I had wanted to go for a long time, and it was worth the wait! It reminds me of a smaller, LA version of Dean and Deluca.
Back at home. My desk is my happy place.

Happy Friday! I’m back from California, and I have to say– it was a great trip. I got so much done, and was able to cross a lot of things off of my list for the big project. Thank you SO MUCH to everyone who contributed to making it a success! I couldn’t have done it without all of you. There’ll be more to come re: the project in the upcoming weeks, so stay tuned!
Lucky for me, I was also able to sneak in a few trips to different eateries and cafes while I was in LA. In my eyes you really can’t beat California food culture. The food is fresh, there are always new places popping up, and each place has their particular, unique take on food. It really is a culinary heaven.

I hope you had a great week! What are you up to this weekend?
P.S. Don’t forget that Daylight Savings starts at 2:00am on Sunday!

We’re totally going back to Joan’s on Third – I still need to try the lasagna! ;) So good to see you!
Yes, definitely! So good to see you too, Trude!
