I went on a mini adventure, and one of the places that I ended up at was Port Townsend. Loved the character of this building.

I got this sweater on my last trip to LA at a Forever 21. I really wanted a long-sleeved pajama top since it’s been so cold here. It also comes in blue, which is super cute, too.

I was out all day and ended up being famished and went through a fast-food drive through. More often than not, I really try to avoid processed foods, but apparently this seagull totally disagreed. He saw me in my parked car, and slowly started approaching me like he was stalking me! He kept looking every which way except for directly at me, which is when you know when they smell blood (er, french fries). I know I shouldn’t have, but I threw him a few.
I saw these mini travel edition magazines at Barnes and Noble. How cute and practical, right? The only catch is, they’re more than twice the price for half the size ($10.50).

I went running at my old high school track (it’s been over 10-years, crazy!) and it was awesome! Obviously a totally unflattering photo, but I wanted to mention how even though I was running in shorts and it was freezing, apparently you lose the most heat through your head. That’s why I look like an Olympic speed skater (see Conan O’Brien photo here), because I had pulled the little cables super tight to protect my ears, which had been burning from the cold. It worked perfectly! Running in 30-something degree temperatures should be no problem now. …I just look kinda stupid doing it, hahaha.

Happy Friday! Today I can see a little bit of blue sky outside, which is exciting for us Washingtonians, who have been shrouded in grayness for what feels like weeks. People always think that it rains a lot here, and while it does rain, it’s mostly just cloudy all of the time. It’s a big difference after living in California for years. You really do appreciate things more once you don’t have them anymore.
I hope you have fun plans for the weekend. One of my plans is to finally see Les Miserables! I know I’ve been talking about it for weeks, and last week I got to check The Hobbit off my list, so I’m aiming for 2-for-2. Have a great weekend, see you back here on Monday!

That really is a lovely old building. I love shooting interesting architecture. Also, kudos for running outdoors in temperatures that I have trouble getting out from under my covers in!
Port Townsend really is cute with really interesting buildings and I hope I get to explore it more sometime. And thank you! Once you get funning, the cold’s not as bad as it seems :)
